June Ministry Update from Mattias

FFI programming still adjusts and adapts to the needs of society due to C-19. This means the staff has to be flexible and ready to move outside their comfort zone in many ways. God has opened up new ways for us during this time to show the love of Christ effectively at the same time sharing the Gospel to people we would never meet if it hasn’t been for C-19. We praise the Lord for three new believers that surrendered their hearts to Him during our dry food campaign in the Sea gypsy village!

The needs are constantly changing due to government support efforts etc. A significant need that we have encountered in the last couple of weeks is families with infants not having recourses to buy proper milk to feed their babies with. In several cases, we have seen mothers and relatives feeding them with condensed milk mixed with water and other cheap substitutes to proper baby milk with nutritional content.

We had our vocational students coming back for two days/week, where they are studying ESL, life skills, and continue the discipleship program. On Thursdays, they help us to cook food as we give out 200 lunch boxes to people in need every week. Our students are mostly from the Sea Gypsy village, and our prayers have been as they encounter Christ to be able to be involved in helping not only be on the receiving side. This is what they said last week with their own words “This is a new experience for us which feel so good and exciting as we are usually only receiving from someone else.”

Continue to pray for us that God will lead us to the people in real need, open doors and hearts for the Gospel. Pray for us to be able to help the infants that has no proper food, if God put it on your heart to help offset the cost, it cost 30USD/month to feed one child.

God is so great and He is moving in Thailand! Sing to God, sing praises to his name; lift up a song to him who rides through the deserts; his name is the LORD; exult before him! Father of the fatherless and protector of widows is God in his holy habitation. (Ps 68:4-5)
